GWS has secured yet another exciting young footballer from Southern NSW with 17 year old Jacob Townsend of Leeton signing on to join the club for the next three years.

Eighteen year old South Australian recruit Alex Carey has capped off an impressive year, making history as the club’s first ever Best and Fairest winner.

On Saturday Team GWS faced off against the North Ballarat Rebels for their final game of the season.
